Normandy Park Family Dentistry

Dr. Steven J. Olson

Meet the Staff

AnnAnn

I’ve worked many years in oral surgery before joining Dr. Olson’s team as a dental assistant. I really enjoy getting to know our patients; they are more like friends than patients, and we laugh a lot. I am so glad I’ve chosen a profession that I enjoy and have fun doing. Our patients are fabulous, and Dr. Olson puts us all in a great mood every morning.

I’ve been married to Art for 40 years. We have two wonderful children, Audrey and Ryan, and three grandchildren, Connor, Ciera, and Darien. I have been an avid tap dancer for over 26 years, and I also enjoy traveling, sewing, crocheting, and spending as much time as I can with my family.

As a dental hygienist, it is my goal to maintain my patients’ oral health and educate them on the best ways to achieve a great smile that will last a lifetime. It is wonderful to meet so many interesting people and hear about their family, work, and school activities. Our team is made up of positive and professional people who enjoy what we do. We all work with each other to create a fun atmosphere for our patients and each other.

I am married with one son. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, attending church activities, and traveling with my family.

Nancy

I am very happy to join Dr. Olson, Ann and Kathy at Normandy Park Family Dentistry in the capacity as a dental hygienist.  Many years of working as a dentist in community health has taught me about the direct relationship between oral health and systemic health and disease.  I believe passionately in hands on restorative and maintenance of the bone and tissue foundation of teeth and in educating patients about current scientific knowledge of the connection between oral health and overall health.

Dr Olson’s office is a very positive place to work where laughter frequently overrides the dental handpieces and patients express their happiness with the high quality work.

Gardening, art, cats and dogs and travel restore my spirit and connect me to others and different cultures.  Trips to India, Vietnam and Guatemala as a volunteer in dentistry have been a highlight in my life.

Kathy

I have worked with Dr. Olson for over 12 years as his front office administrator. As the first person our patients see when they come into the office, I always welcome them with a smile so they feel comfortable. I also help them choose the best financial and treatment plan to meet their dental goals while staying within their budget. It is great to know that I am helping to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

I have a daughter, Heather, who just graduated from UW, and I have been with Dan for seven years. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending church activities, being outdoors, and traveling.
