What Sets Us Apart?

teens

As a patient at Normandy Park Family Dentistry, you will never have unnecessary treatment recommended, nor will you ever have treatment recommended that we would not choose for our own family. We believe that prevention is the key to long-term

health. We strive to educate patients on treatments they receive as well as how to maintain their healthy smile at home.
  • Dr. Olson has been rated in the Puget Sound Consumer's Checkbook as one of Seattle's "Top Dentists" in the greater Puget Sound area! We’re proud that many of our new patients are direct referrals from our existing patients.
  • We provide comfortable care in a safe and clean environment. Our certified 4-Star Envirostar office is dedicated to the use of environmentally-sound procedures and practices. We can all do our part to help reduce our carbon footprint!
  • Our friendly staff treats others as we wish to be treated, with respect and courtesy. Many of us have worked in this office for a long time, and we’ve built many trusting relationships with our patients.
  • We charge a fair fee for our services, and we are flexible and reasonable with affordable financing. We will always give you an estimate of your fee so there are never any surprises. We also value and respect your time, and will place a high priority on seeing you on time at your appointed reservation.

Our practice offers the state-of-the-art VELscope Oral Cancer Screening System. Along with our conventional oral screening exam, which includes looking inside your mouth for any lesions that might be visible to the naked eye, and feeling your neck for any suspicious bumps.  We can use the VELscope to literally see beneath the surface to detect potentially dangerous cancerous growths we might have otherwise missed.   Oral Cancer: The Scary Truth, Pt 1. | The Dr. Oz Show

We also use the AcuCam Concept IV intraoral video camera system to assist us in the assessment of the overall dental health of patients by providing high-quality, magnified images of the regions of the oral cavity which otherwise are difficult or impossible to view. It allows us to provide educational information to patients and to more effectively communicate a treatment plan.
